No? Then how about a three-room apartment in a small town under the name of Advertising Graphics in 1972? We started with an IBM Selectric typewriter; a very large camera the size of a stove; a film version of a large label maker; and a gadget that rolled bee's wax to the back of paper to make it stick to cardboard. That led to trips back and forth to photo studios, printers, and clients with pasted art boards that you had to worry if they got too hot causing pieces to fall off when the wax melted.

Times progressed to a deep freezer-sized object that set the type on photographic paper. Later a small computer called the Apple Lisa was added to the typesetter, and finally, in the mid '80's, the personal computer (PC) was born.

Many things have changed in the way advertising is created and new abilities have become realized that were not available almost 40 years ago. Digital has turned the field around. Digital cameras, digital presses, the internet - they all have helped speed up the process so your message can get out when you need it to get out. But, you have to be careful because not all digital is good. That's where we come in.
